I recently happened to watch a biopic about a revolutionary, Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh. It took me four good days to watch that movie till the end. The movie wasn't bad, nor was I busy. There was too much of our country's history to revisit, process and too strong emotions to deal with. I don't want to get into its details, cause this platform isn't the right one for it. But I would like to share my understanding of it. The main event around which the movie is based is the Jallianwala bagh massacre. It was an order given by a single outsider, but carried out by several people of our very own clan. A single person can behave erratically for some time. But what do you call those who had sense, yet blindly got led on such an erratic pathway. Not to forget with ammunition in their hands. The Brigadier - General is responsible for that massacre. But aren't those who carried out his orders, without giving a second thought accountable too?? The external force can harm...
